The Story

A print of Nigel Starmer-Smith's original commentary notes from the match between  Bath and Wigan at Twickenham on May 25, 1996.

In the first of this highly anticipated two match series, dubbed the "Clash of the Codes", Wigan had comfortably beaten Bath 82-6 in the match played under League's laws.
In the second encounter, played under union laws, Bath claimed a memorable 44-19 win in front of the Twickenham crowd. 

Available as A3 print-only or framed.

  • The wrapped MDF wooden frame has a black matt finish, scratch-resistant perspex, built-in picture hooks and an MDF back.
  • They are A3 (297mm x 420mm) in size and the frame is 30mm wide and 15mm deep.
All products come with a letter of authentication verifying that these are prints of the original commentary notes.
